Next time you buy fresh basil why not whip up some delicious home made pesto. Not only is pesto simple to prepare and totally delicious, it contains ingredients that are great for our health.

What you need
2 cups (packed) fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup pine nuts (can substitute walnuts if desired)
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 cup freshly grated Romano or Parmesan-Reggiano cheese
1/2 cup Taralinga Estate Picual extra virgin olive oil
What you do
Combine all ingredients - but only half of the oil - in a blender and mix. Slowly add the remaining oil as blending. Add salt & pepper to taste.
