Welcome to Taralinga Estate Olive Grove.
It is the 1st of May 2015, the Pieralisi Press is ready to go, and we cannot wait to share our early harvest olive oil with you all.
In 2015, we will focus our attention on Mornington Peninsula olive growers who, until now, have had to ship their fruit long distances for pressing.
Located in the hills behind Shoreham, the shorter distance to our own Pieralisi press, will mean time savings for local growers, but more importantly, a better quality olive oil by reducing the time between picking and pressing.
Later in the year, we plan to launch our Consumer Brand and sell our premium-grade first pressing extra virgin olive oil online and in specialty retailers in the area.
To ensure our inaugural harvest season is a good one, our friends from Pieralisi in Italy have flown out to Taralinga Estate their expert oil maker to oversee the press’ operations. We are delighted to welcome Giuseppe Levantinoto our Grove.
